In January the Orem Library Book Club will read My Grandfather’s Blessings by Rachel Naomi Remen, a cancer physician and mastery storyteller. Dr. Remen’s grandfather, an orthodox rabbi and scholar of the Kabbalah, saw life as a web of connection and taught his granddaughter that blessing one another fills our emptiness, heals our loneliness, and connects us more deeply to life. In her book, Remen uses luminous stories to remind us of the power of our kindness and the joy of being alive. Call Julie at 801-229-7379 to sign up, or see a reference desk for more information.
