Writing Workshop with Dr. Brad Wilcox (Mon. 23 Jun, 2014 11:00 am - 12:00 pm)

This unique two-day workshop provides students (grades 2-6) with writing tutoring with professional teachers. Students will begin with writing instruction from Dr. Brad Wilcox of the BYU McKay School of Education before splitting up into small group instruction. All participating teachers are enrolled in BYU's Continuing Education course on writing instruction. Space is limited and both days are required, please call 801-229-7161 to register.

Transported to a magical world, a teenager is recruited by a nature spirit, Queen Tara, to help the "Leafmen" save their existence and ours from evil warriors.

Summer Concerts in the Park: Aspen Winds (Mon. 23 Jun, 2014 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

Since its beginning in 2011, Aspen Winds seeks to educate and inspire audiences through creative, quality performances of chamber music.  Collaborating with musicians holding performance degrees from major universities and music schools across the country, Aspen Winds brings years of study, practice and performance together to guarantee the best possible quality in each performance and outreach opportunity.

About the City of Orem Library

The Orem Library is open Monday through Friday 9am until 9pm and on Saturdays from 9am until 6pm. We are closed Sundays and Holidays. Click here for a list of observed holidays.

If you need to return books outside of these hours, a 24 drive through book and media drop is located on the North side of the Library.

The Main Library is located at 58 North State Street in Orem, Utah at the north end of the City Center Complex (on the northeast corner of State and Center Streets). Parking is to the east of the library building and is accessed from 100 North. If you need assistance please call 229-7050.
