The Knight of the Cart
Storyteller, comedian, and musician Stephen Gashler will be performing his hilarious rendition of the original story of Sir Lancelot by Chrétien de Troyes, 12th-century French poet. Flaming lances, sneaky dwarves, insanely hazardous bridges, castles inhabited by beautiful maidens -- this story's got it all. Be prepared to laugh till it hurts as you're plunged into the wonderfully paradoxical worlds of chivalry and courtly love.
Award-winning essayist and novelist Brian Doyle explores personal and family stories in the writing in beautiful, expressive ways. Join him as he explores how he finds and develops stories from his own life before sharing some these gems.
