Nonfiction writing has the power to transport us around the world, examine the world in detail, and share insights and discoveries, and that’s exactly what the book Wild Rides and Wildflowers does. UVU professor of philosophy and humanities, Scott Abbott and Sam Rushforth , dean of the college of science and health at UVU, will visit the library to discuss their book, based on a bike trek on the Great Western Trail.
Utah has produced many talented young adult fiction authors in recent decades. Join acclaimed writers Matthew J. Kirby, author of Icefall and The Clockwork Three, and E. J. Patten, author of The Hunter Chronicles as they discuss the finer points of crafting a bestselling YA novel.
