Story Walk | Teen Area

Start in the Teen Area and follow a story walk of posters around the library to read about examples of kindness, inspiration, and community service.

Teen After Hours

Teen After Hours: Fantasy Quest

Go adventuring in the library and complete our epic fantasy quest! First you’ll create your own character with different attributes and personality traits. Then journey through the library with a party of fellow teens on a quest to defeat a dragon. Treats and glory provided. For ages 12–18. Sign up at bit.ly/teenfantasyquest.

Orem Teen Library Council

Want to help plan teen programs, get volunteer experience, and make friends at the library? The OTLC meets each month on the second Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the Sorenson Legacy Room. Dungeons & Dragons Club

Dungeons & Dragons Club

Are you a teen and an avid fan of fantasy role-playing games? Bring your dice and join the Orem Library’s Dungeons & Dragons Club to meet other players, create new characters, and embark on magical quests. D&D Club meets every third Thursday from 4–6 PM. For ages 12–18.

No DMs or tutorials provided. All experience levels welcome.

Learn to Fold Sakura Blossoms | North Wing Top Floor

Sakura is the national flower of Japan, signifying the end of winter and beginning of spring. They reminds us that life is short, but precious, and are a symbol of good luck and hope. Come to the Children’s Mezzanine to fold a Sakura blossom and add it to our tree!

You don’t have to be human to be a community helper! Learn wilderness survival tips and watch a live demonstration of dogs in action from Rocky Mountain Search Dogs, an all-volunteer, non-profit, professional canine search and rescue organization. For ages 8–12. Sign up at bit.ly/tweensearchdogs.
