Bardlibs (AKA Shakespeare Adlibs) | Teen Area

“To _____ or not to _____ that is the ______.” Fill in the blanks this month with our Teen Anytime Activity: BardLibs (aka Shakespeare MadLibs)! Located in the Teen Area throughout the month of April.

Teen Reading Challenge

Read more books in 2024! Join our Teen Reading Challenge and read at least one book a month throughout 2024. Each month will have a different theme to challenge you to read a variety of genres and topics. Track your books in the Beanstack Teen Reading Challenge to earn badges and enter to win prizes. Join the challenge at orem.beanstack.org.

Come to Teen Time on the second and fourth Fridays of the month to discuss the books you read and do fun activities and games based on that month’s theme. For grades 7–12.

Teen Time: Ready Player One

Friday, May 10 | 6 – 8 PM | Library Hall

Come escape reality for a night, and join us as we watch Ready Player One (PG-13, 2018, 2 hrs 20 min). Grades 7-12.

Teen Time: Treasure Hunt

Calling all treasure hunters! Join us for a scavenger hunt around Library Hall at 6:00 PM on April 26.

Orem Teen Library Council

Want to help plan teen programs, get volunteer experience, and make friends at the library? The OTLC meets each month on the second Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the Sorenson Legacy Room. Dungeons & Dragons Club

Are you a teen and an avid fan of fantasy role-playing games? Bring your dice and join the Orem Library’s Dungeons & Dragons Club to meet other players, create new characters, and embark on magical quests. D&D Club meets every third Thursday from 4–6 PM. For grades 7–12.

No DMs or tutorials provided. All experience levels welcome.

Her Stamp on History | North Wing Top Floor

Many women have put their ‘stamp’ on history, leaving behind an indelible mark and providing a foundation upon which others can build. Some of these women have been recognized on US Postage stamps. To celebrate Women’s History Month, pictures of 16 stamps are hidden around the top floor area. Find each one and return to the desk for a prize.
