Family Any Time Activity: Library Geocache Adventure | Teen Area
Join us at the library this summer for a thrilling family geocaching adventure! Hunt for hidden treasures while exploring the world of books. Start in the South Wing Basement near Teen Fiction. Available June 3 to July 31.
Teen Reading Challenge
Read more books in 2024! Join our Teen Reading Challenge and read at least one book a month throughout 2024. Each month will have a different theme to challenge you to read a variety of genres and topics. Track your books in the Beanstack Teen Reading Challenge to earn badges and enter to win prizes. Join the challenge at orem.beanstack.org.
Come to Teen Time on the second and fourth Fridays of the month to discuss the books you read and do fun activities and games based on that month’s theme. For grades 7–12.
Teen Time: Mean Girls

This is going to be so fetch! Come watch Mean Girls (2004, PG-13, 1 hr 38 min) with us (wearing pink is optional). For grades 7-12.
Teen Time: Hike the Dragon's Back
Saturday, July 27 | 8:30 AM | Canyon Glen Park
Bring a book and a desire for adventure, and join us for a short hike along the Dragon’s Back! The hike is three miles round-trip, with a break in the middle to read. Bring sturdy, closed-toed shoes and a pack that can hold 32 ounces of water. A hat and sunglasses are recommended. Gatorade and trail mix will be provided. We will meet at Canyon Glen Park at 8:30 AM. For grades 7–12.
Orem Teen Library Council
Want to help plan teen programs, get volunteer experience, and make friends at the library? The OTLC meets each month on the second Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the Sorenson Legacy Room. Dungeons & Dragons Club
Are you a teen and an avid fan of fantasy role-playing games? Bring your dice and join the Orem Library’s Dungeons & Dragons Club to meet other players, create new characters, and embark on magical quests. D&D Club meets every third Thursday from 4–6 PM. For grades 7–12.
No DMs or tutorials provided. All experience levels welcome.

National Park Adventure | North Wing Top Floor
National Parks are a great place for an adventure! At the Orem Public Library, some National Parks cards have been hung up throughout the top floor Children’s area. Find each one and cross them off on your list. Then return to the desk for a National Parks prize!
